We are pleased to congratulate our newly certified facility dog teams on successfully completing their training and examinations. After dedicating over a year to attending classes and diligent practice, they have achieved full certification as therapy dogs. Notably, two of the dogs, Poppy and Lincoln, are sisters who had extra challenges to overcome, yet still managed to attain certification. We look forward to many rewarding years of these outstanding canine-handler pairs, including the sister duo, providing animal-assisted interventions and positively impacting the lives of students in the Ottawa/Marseilles schools. The compassion and comfort these dogs bring will be invaluable assets to the school communities.
